Two shows, twice the fun! Audition to join the cast of Shakespearean Youth Theatre’s summer Shakespeare Festival, hosted at the Crane Theatre in Minneapolis, MN.

ROMEO & JULIET

“Two households, both alike in dignity…”

In fair Verona, two families are at odds. The Capulets and Montagues are fighting in the streets; the Prince has declared a death sentence upon anyone of either family caught fighting. When Juliet Capulet falls in love with Romeo of house Montague, everything is changed. Shakespeare’s most famous (and famously misunderstood) love story.

A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM

“Lord, what fools these mortals be!”

Shakespeare’s most joyous and life-affirming comedy.

Celebrate the summer with this heart-warming and hilarious story of four young people encountering life for the first time, and running off into the woods to make their first discovery of love and magic.

You'll also meet ragtag group of artisans trying their hand at theatrical invention, a band of magical spirits inhabiting the uniquely mystical forest of Athens, and a stuck-up Duke.

Experience Shakespeare at his most delightful, ridiculous, and enchanting.
